Dear LAAAGS Members and Friends,

Happy New Year!  We have begun a new decade in the 21st Century - 2010.  Let us resolve to not let another month go by without documenting our family histories.

This year I would like to call for renewed vigor in interesting new individuals to become members of LAAAGS.  When we know our history we can rejoice even more in our accomplishments and achievements.

President Barack Obama has written three books and one of them is a memoir, "Dreams from my Father".  We should all be penning our memoirs.  Imagine how excited your grandchildren would be to have your life story written by you!  To that end the members of LAAAGS have pledged themselves to the  renewed effort of researching, writing and presenting their stories.  We invite you to join us in preserving our collective histories by combining with us and writing your very own unique story.

We have great plans for 2010!  Workshops, vibrant monthly programs, increased personal research, road trips, and lots more fun things that I know you would enjoy.
